Rector of UNEC Professor Prof. Adalat Muradov first familiarized with the infrastructure created at the branch in connection with the implementation of the “Electronic University” model. Work to implement the model is almost complete. It was informed that the project would be implemented from the second semester. Because of this, it is instructed to implement the remaining necessary measures as soon as possible. In connection with the implementation of the “Electronic University” model, it is planned to hold trainings for teachers and inform students.
He then visited Lingua-phone room, library, and reading room of the branch. The rector instructed the library and the reading room to be built using modern technology, as well as in the university’s academic buildings in Baku. In particular, importance of the establishment of the affiliate library’s relationship with the UNEC Library Information Center and provision with new books were emphasized.
Situation of the examination hall of Zaqatala branch of UNEC was also checked. 30 new computers to the hall were purchased. Rector Adalat Muradov instructed to purchase additional computers. Exams from the 2nd semester would be already provided in this hall.
Then renovated student and teachers′ canteen were looked at. The conditions created in the canteens were highly appreciated. The rector instructed to closely monitor the pricing policy, its availability for both students and staff.
Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov then met with UNEC startups who participated with their own projects in the Bakutel-2019 exhibition on December 3-6. The students of the Zagatala branch of the university, Ali Ahmadzadeh, Mirhasan Dadashov and Nijat Mursalov shared their successes and joy with the rector. Adalat Muradov said that students’ innovative ideas would continue to be supported and all conditions for new projects would be created for them.
In the end, the rector met with students prior written to the reception, branch employee, and others. In total 45 appeals were heard. The relevant structural divisions of the university were instructed to solve the issues raised.
After the reception, the rector Adalat Muradov held a meeting in the expanded structure with the students of Zaqatala branch of UNEC. Speaking about educational reforms at the university, the rector advised the students to get a good education in their specialties and to become a modern, educated worker satisfying todays requirements.
After the students, the rector met with teachers of the Zaqatala branch. UNEC priorities and objectives for achieving progress in education were discussed at the meeting.
