At the meeting, the martyr’s mother Ellada shared her memories about her son and said that the Naib family’s only hope was help. The mother said that she was very sad that the deputy left us early and that she was the only friend of her 9-year-old son Mustafa, who has a speech impediment, and expressed that she was proud that her son rose to the height of martyrdom. Mrs. Ellada showed Naib’s childhood notebooks full of interesting drawings to the students. The mother stated that Naib was admitted to the university by studying without going to preparatory courses and tutoring because of their financial difficulties. She said that she was proud of her son when Naib was admitted to the university. Naib’s mother says that due to the family’s financial incapacity, Naib started working since he was a student. He worked at night to take care of his mother and younger brother, saying that he would work hard and buy a house.
After graduating from the Russian School of Economics of UNEC, Naib left for military service in June 2020. He fought heroically in the battles in the direction of Fuzuli region and reached the peak of martyrdom. He was buried on October 3 in the village of Garagan Sadi, Agdash region.
The military unit was posthumously awarded the “For the Fatherland” medal for honorably fulfilling its duties during the execution of the tasks assigned to it.
At the meeting, Chairman of UNEC Student Trade Union Committee Rufat Suleymanli presented the Honorary Decree of THIK to the martyr’s family. He said that the dear memory of Naib Namatov will live forever in the hearts of each of us.
