During the event, the Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov, delivered a comprehensive address outlining the university’s current operations, implemented reforms, and strategic objectives for the future.
Acting Rector of AESMA, Associate Professor Yusif Aghayev, provided an overview of the institution he represents, noting that the academy currently serves approximately 1,100 students, operates with 2 faculties and 5 academic departments. Expressing his satisfaction with the establishment of cooperation with UNEC, Mr. Aghayev voiced confidence that the signed memorandum would be of significant benefit to AESMA.
Subsequent to the official remarks, the memorandum was signed by representatives of both institutions. In accordance with the terms of the agreement, AESMA’s faculty and students will gain access to UNEC’s library resources, while AESMA’s academic personnel will be eligible to participate in professional development trainings organized by UNEC.
Furthermore, the memorandum envisions collaboration in various areas, including the development of joint projects and programs, the conduct of scientific research, the organization of international conferences, and other mutual initiatives.
The meeting was also attended by structural leaders and representatives of both higher education institutions, who engaged in discussions regarding potential avenues for future cooperation.
