Doctor of Technological Sciences,, prof. Suleymanov Nizami Mammad
He was born in 1958 in the Republic of Georgia.
In 1974 he entered the full-time department of the history faculty of Azerbaijan State University (now Baku State University), and in 1979 he graduated from the history faculty of the same University.
In 1979-1984 he worked as a teacher in Agdash region.
In 1984-1995 he worked as a laboratory assistant, senior laboratory assistant, teacher at the “History of Azerbaijan” department of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.
He defended his dissertation in 1990 and is a candidate of historical sciences.
Since 1995, he has worked as a senior lecturer and associate professor at the “History of Azerbaijan” department of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
In 2000-2003 he was a doctoral student at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. In December 2013, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences by the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, defending his dissertation entitled “Economic Life of the Safavid State of Azerbaijan” for the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences.

On October 6, 2017, he was awarded the “Honorary Decree” of UNEC for long-term fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities.
He is currently a professor at the UNEC Department of Humanities.
He is married and has two children.
