In order to ensure the implementation of the decisions of the online meeting of the UNEC Scientific Council dated 31 May 2020, SC-172 and the online meeting of 14 September 2020, SC-173, on 19.10.2020, “Expertise and standardization ”faculty was abolished and“ Engineering ”faculty was established on its basis.
On October 19, 2020, the department of Engineering and Applied Sciences was established at the Faculty of Engineering.
At present, the faculty trains bachelors in 11 specialities:
For I and II years of education:
1.050623-Materials Engineering;
2.050606-Ecological Engineering;
3.050635 – Food Engineering;
4.050638 – Industrial Engineering;
5.050607 – Electrical and electronics engineering;
6.050622 – Mechanical Engineering.
For III and IV years of education:
7.050644 – Examination and marketing of consumer goods;
8.050647 – Metrology, standardization and certification engineering;
9.050642- Food engineering;
10.050643- Technology engineering of reproductive goods;
11.050625- Technological machinery and equipment engineering.

In order to ensure the implementation of the decisions of the online meeting of the UNEC Scientific Council dated September 14, 2020, SC 173, the following laboratories were established at UNEC, serving the faculties of “Engineering” and “Digital Economy”:
Laboratory of “Food Chemistry and Microbiology”;
– “Food technology” laboratory;
– “Ecology” laboratory;
– “Physics 1 ″ laboratory;
– “Physics 2 ″ laboratory;
– “Chemistry 1 ″ laboratory;
– “Chemistry 2 ″ laboratory;
– “Electronics” laboratory;
– “Electrical engineering” laboratory;
– “Materials Science” laboratory;
– “Communication system engineering” laboratory;
– “Machine and industrial engineering” laboratory;
– 2 “Computer” laboratory.
“Laboratory Organization Center” has been established at UNEC to ensure effective management of the laboratories established under the “Engineering” and “Digital Economy” faculties.
