UNEC Women Researchers Council under Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) is an international research network of female researchers and scientists from both on and off campus on scholarly and educational projects in the field of social sciences, including political science, international law, political economy, international economics, and related spheres.

WRC’s main goal is to make academic contributions and implications to science by bringing together local and international women researchers and scientists on the most relevant topics of the social sciences.

WRC promotes intellectual engagement with women researchers, policy experts, and professionals to host conferences/symposia, workshops as well as research seminars in the sphere of the social sciences.

UNEC Women Researchers Council works to help female scholars and research associates on and off campus to apply for various international programs, workshops, conferences, and research fellowships.

Furthermore, it makes available to the campus community materials relevant to women researchers and scholars’ areas of research interest.

The Women’s Research Center supports women-centered research activities with a strong focus on women-created academic initiatives and projects.

We welcome applications from interested female academics and practitioners in the social sciences from various countries to join our research network.

WRC operates under the slogan “women in science” and is ready to support women’s scientific activities and women empowerment in science.
