Cand.of E., Assoc.Prof. Hasanov Niyazi Alikram oghlu
He was born on June 1, 1958, in the village of Qarabağlı, Salyan district.
In 1983, he graduated from the Azerbaijan State Institute of National Economy (now Azerbaijan State University of Economics – UNEC).
In 1984, he worked as a junior and senior researcher at the Scientific Research Institute of Economics under the State Planning Committee of the Azerbaijan SSR.
In 1991, he successfully defended his PhD dissertation at the Scientific Research Institute of Economics under the Academy of Sciences of the Azerbaijan SSR and obtained the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.
In 1990, he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Management at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.
Currently, he works as an associate professor at the Department of Business Administration at the University of Economics.
In 2007, he submitted his doctoral dissertation titled ‘Formation of Investment Strategies and Development Problems of Modernization’ to the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and it was sent to the dissertation council at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics for the dissertation defense.
Since 2002, he has been a member of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, and since 2004, a member of the Azerbaijan Economists’ Union.
In 2008, he was awarded the “Golden Pen” Media Award by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation’s Committee of Information and Mass Media Employees for his effective research activities.
Since 2009, he has been the editor-in-chief of the Entrepreneurship and Science journal.
He has participated as an expert and specialist in various projects of the World Bank and the Islamic Development Bank.
He is the author of more than 80 scientific and methodological works, including 4 textbooks, 1 monograph, and 2 poetry books.
