Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Alakbarov Arif Alakbar
He was born on June 10, 1965 in Ashagi Goychali village of Agstafa region.
He graduated from the Belarusian Institute of Agricultural Mechanization in 1987 with a degree in “Automation of Production Processes in Agriculture” with honors. (the first education);
1999 – he graduated from the Belarusian Institute of Law, specialty – lawyer; (the second high education)
In 2006 he graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a degree in International Economic Relations.
He was awarded scientific degree of candidate of technical sciences in 1992. In 2010, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences.
In 1995-1999, he was Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian-Azerbaijani Society in Minsk and a member of the Committee on National Minorities under the Cabinet of Ministers of Belarussia.
He was dean of the Commercial faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 2001-2004;

In 2005-2009 he was the dean of the faculty of Informatics and Management.
He is the author of more than 70 scientific and methodical works, including 1 patent of the Russian Federation, 2 textbooks and 2 monographs.
He was elected a representative of the 1st Congress of World Azerbaijanis and the 2nd NAP Congress.
He is the head of department of the Higher Attestation Commission.
He is currently a professor at UNEC Department of “Environmental Protection and Economics” (0.25).
He is married and has two children.
