A memorandum is signed between the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance and UNEC
A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation has been signed between the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance and Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
Supporting the expansion of social and economic reforms in the country, the memorandum signed between the chairman of the board of the agency Zaur Aliyev and the rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov includes mutual cooperation in the application of compulsory health insurance and the creation of the necessary specialties and training in health management. The memorandum envisages cooperation in the implementation of awareness-raising activities, study of foreign experience and application of the necessary experience in the country.
According to the document, the parties will cooperate in the field of economic analysis of medical services, the study of gaps in the experience and in relevant fields of post-soviet countries. At the same time, the parties agreed to update the service package of compulsory health insurance and conduct surveys among the population to study the satisfaction with the provided medical services.
The activities and research to be carried out under the memorandum will be carried out jointly by the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance and UNEC Research Center for Health Economics.
