He was born on April 5, 1952 in Tovuz region.
In 1976 he graduated from the faculty of Chemistry of Azerbaijan State University (now Baku State University).
In 1979-1983 he studied full-time postgraduate studies at the USSR Academy of Sciences, majoring in “Chemistry”, and in 1983 he defended his dissertation and was awarded the degree of Candidate of Chemical Sciences.
In 1985, he worked at Azerbaijan Institute of Technology, first as an assistant in chemistry, and then as an associate professor.

In 1990-2005 he worked as an associate professor, head of the department “Chemistry” of the Faculty of Commodity Studies.
Since 2005 he has worked as an associate professor at the department of “Commodity and expertise of non-food products.”
He is currently an associate professor of “Consumer Goods Expertise”.
He is the author of 55 scientific works, including textbooks, teaching aids, programs and methodical instructions.
He is married and has a child.
