Doctor of Technical Sciences., prof. Valiyev Fazil Ali
He was born in 1950 in Ganja.
In 1972 he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry with a degree in mechanical engineering.
In 1972-1976 he worked as a laboratory manager at the “Computation and Applied Mechanics” department of the same institute. In 1976-1979 he studied full-time at the graduate school of the Tashkent Institute of Mechanics. In 1981, he defended his dissertation at the Konstroma Institute of Technology and was awarded the title of Candidate of Technical Sciences.
In 1989-1991 he worked as an assistant, associate professor, head of the department of “Computation and Applied Mechanics” of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry.
In 1981-1986 he graduated from the evening department of the mathematics faculty of Tashkent State University.

From 1991 to 1993 he studied at the doctoral program of the Moscow State Textile Academy, in 1993 he defended his doctoral dissertation and received the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences.
In 1993-2007 he worked as an associate professor, professor at the department of “Textile and knitwear production” of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry.
Since 2008 he is a professor of “Technological machines and field equipment” at Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
He is the author of more than 80 scientific-methodical articles published in the republic and abroad, including 7 textbooks, 4 methodical instructions, 16 subject programs and 5 patents.
According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 24, 2020, he was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Teacher” on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan State University of Economics and for his services to the development of education in Azerbaijan.
He is married and has a girl.
