“Economics Classes” of UNEC

A new project on “Economics Classes” is started at UNEC.

The Project realized by EcoLab, Faculty of Economics and the Students Scientific Society of UNEC aims to deliver the necessary knowledge on Macro Economics and Micro Economics to those are being trained on the 26th program. The project is intended for the graduate students who will take an exam on Macro Economics and Micro Economics, who failed the exam and attend it in sub- groups. The “Economics Classes” are also targeted in providing knowledge for the students who want to develop their skills and knowledge in this field. At the same time, it will create the opportunity for those who do not study in economics, but want to obtain basic knowledge in the field.

Young teaching staff of the Department of International Economics Seymur Aliyev, Mirsahib Eminov, Tahmasib Alizade, Ahliman Abbasov and Rovshan Jamalov will lecture on Introduction to Economics-demans and supply, scarcity of resources and infertility of wants, alternative expenses, individual demand, market demand and demand determinants, Martial and Hicks Analysis, Cournot, Edward and Sweezy Models, the concept of elasticity, consumer behavior, consumer balance and other topics.

All the undergraduate and graduate students of UNEC majoring in all faculties of UNEC regardless of their courses can attend the lectures “Economics classes” that will be in progress within a month. The “Economics classes” will take place twice a week- Wednesdays and Thursdays; at 02pm. Lectures are free of charge.

It is planned to organize video classes of the “Economics Classes” in the future.
