The event devoted to the day of memory of the Great Leader was held at UNEC.

The participants of the event put the flowers at the bust of the Nationwide leader ascended  at UNEC and honoured with respect the memory of the Great Leader.

Before the event, the memory of the Nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev was commemorated with a minute of silence.

The rector of UNEC, professor Adalat Muradov underscored that the Great Leader had laid the foundation of the Azerbaijani ideology and he talked about the invaluable contribution of  Nationwide leader in promoting our country in the world and strengthening its influence in the international arena. Noting the importance of studying the heritage of Heydar Aliyev, the rector stressed that the genius was the specimen of invincibility and the eternal winner. The rector pointed out that, the Great Leader had paid the special attention to the personnel training policy and stated that his recommendations in this direction constituted the basis for the development strategy of  UNEC.

The Member of the Parliament Musa Guliyev noted that, considering the life journey of  the Great Leader and his invaluable contribution to our people, Heydar Aliyev had been not only the greatest politician of Azerbaijan , but one of the great politicians of the world, as well.  Speaking about the successful domestic and foreign policy led by the Great Leader within the term of his tenure in Azerbaijan, M. Guliyev said that, the genius had laid the basis for the such universal values as independence, democracy, justice, the national progress and the humanity.  He underlined that, all the achievements of our country had gained by the leadership of the  Great Leader was successfully continued and enriched further by the President Ilham Aliyev today.

The chairman  of  the NAP (New Azerbaijan Party) of Sabail district, the first territorial  organization  UNEC, prorector Mikail Zeynalov spoke about the the role of the Great Leader in the creation of army. Pointing out the fact that the promoinent political figure  Heydar Aliyev had been the founder of the mighty Azerbaijani Army , M. Zeynalov noted that, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces had been formed at the level meeting the requirements of  NATO standards and were getting stronger and stronger day after day.

The head of the chair of UNEC, professor Ali Alirzayev spoke about the invaluable role of the Nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in the establishement, development and recognition of the Azerbaijan state throughout the world and talked about the large–scale constructive programs had been implemented under his leadership. Imran  Elchinoghlu, the student of the Russian Economics School of UNEC spoke on the importance of the youth policy founded by the Nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.

In the event had been presented the videoclip dediceted to the substantive life journey of the Nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and his political life.
