UNEC’s Team “Igtisadchi” becomes winner
The volleyball team of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) “Igtisadchi” has won the first game stage of the Republic championship held among the students of higher education institutions.
UNEC’s volleyball team “Igtisadchi” has passed the next stage of the competition competing with the team of Baku Slavic University “Slavyan” with the score 2:0.
UNEC’s football team “Igtisadchi” has also beat the team of Marine Fish College with 17:4 the same day.
Note: the Republic Championship among the students of the higher education institutions is held with support of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Republic Committee of the Union of Independent Education Employees of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Public Association of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Sports Organizations and directly organized by the Republic sports Center “Tehsil” and Republic Board of Student Sports Society “Ganjlik”. The program of the Republic Championship includes 10 sport types. They are mini football, basketball, ping-pong, chess, velo-sports, badminton, volleyball, athletics, Greece-Rome wrestling and free- style wrestling.
