More than 100 children’s literature samples were presented by the UNEC representatives to the pupils of Technical and Humanitarian Sciences Lyceum number 2 named after H.Mahmudbeyov operating under UNEC. The director of Distance, Correspondence and Additional Professional Center Sabuhi Tanrıverdiyev congratulating the pupils on the occasion of the International Children’s Book day, spoke about the importance of reading and emphasized the importance of acquiring this habit starting from the secondary school years. He noted that, the ability of reading would enhance their perception, thinking abilities and creativity, along with being more educated and knowledgeable, including the life journey experience, as well.
The director of the lyceum Bakir Mustafayev expressed his gratitude towards the UNEC staff for causing joy at pupils, and noted that such events increased the pupils‘interest in the books and stimulated them.
The meeting continued with the discussion of book. The pupils shared their impressions of the literary samples they had read.
