Cand. of Econ. Scien., Assoc.Prof., Hajiyev Hafis Ahmad
He was born on December 24, 1975 in Tbilisi.
In 1997, he graduated with honors from Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics (now the University), majoring in “Accounting, Control and Analysis of Economic Activity.” After graduating from the institute, he worked as a laboratory assistant at the department of Accounting and Auditing and in September 1998 was transferred to the position of senior laboratory assistant.
He has worked as a lecturer of the same department since February 2002;
Since June 2008, he has worked as a senior lecturer.
On May 15, 2006 he defended his dissertation on “Improvement of accounting and analysis of production efficiency in peasant farms” on the specialty 08.00.12 “Accounting, statistics”. By the decision of the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 20, 2006 (protocol № 35-k) he was awarded the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.
He has been a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors of the United States of America since September 2006.
Until 2021, he worked as an associate professor at the Department of “Accounting and Auditing”.
In August 2021, he was appointed Dean of the Faculty of “Finance and Accounting”.
His 77 scientific and educational-methodical works were published dedicated to various topical issues of the economy, including accounting, auditing and economic analysis in volume of 33,13pp.
Married, has 2 children.
