Center for Students with Disabilities was established at Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
The main purpose in founding the Center is to increase the students’ with disabilities access to education and their full integration to training. The Center will realize the affairs of involvement of people with disabilities in higher education, elimination of restrictions that hinder their education and strengthen the social integration of the students’ awareness. In addition, it will be engaged in the implementation of the internship exchange with the centers of the same profile and enlightening about disability among the various levels the public.
The Center is set up within the TEMPUS Project on “Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into Higher Educational Institutions of Azerbaijan” and is supported with different donations, programs and projects.
