UNEC students attended the Exhibition of Books dedicated to the Genocide of Azerbaijanis – March 31 held in the Central Library of the NLS.
UNEC’s student, Chairman of the Public Union “Support to Economist Students” Samad Rzazade delivered the information about the massacre committed by the armed groups of Baku Soviet and dashnak Armenians in Baku and its nearby villages, as well as in Shamakhi, Guba, Khachmaz, Lenkoran, Salyan, Zangazur, Garabagh, Nakhchivan and other territories in 1918; it was informed, in accordance with the official information, that ten millions of Azerbaijanis were killed and missing as a result of genocide. He noted that identification of the bodies of more than 400 people of different age groups in the mass grave found Guba- Guba Genocide Memorial Complex established by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is a striking example of genocide.
Students were also introduced books written about Armenian vandalism, aggression, racism and expansionism policy based on historical facts “Armenian Issue” and Turkish-Armenian genocide (in Azerbaijani and English) “Armenian Genocide against the Muslims, Christians and Jews (in English and Russian) by the public and political figure of Azerbaijan and the Ukraine, poet, writer and historical researcher Khagani Ismayil within the exhibition which was of great interest by students.
