PhD in Econ. Aliyeva Tahmina Tahir
She graduated from the “Finance and Credit” Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Economic University with an honors diploma in 2002.
Since 2002, she has served as a faculty member in the Department of “Money Circulation and Credit,” which is currently known as “Finance and Audit.”
In 2013, she earned the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, specializing in domestic fiscal policy and public finance.
She has authored over 60 scientific articles, with 21 of them published in foreign journals, along with teaching materials and curriculum outlines. Additionally, she is the sole or co-author of 8 textbooks.
She conducts interactive lectures and workshops covering various topics such as banking, bank accounting, monetary systems, international credit relations, securities, etc.
Throughout her career, she has engaged in activities relevant to her field, including roles as an economist-accountant in a bank, chief accountant, and auditor in the chamber of auditors operating under the Milli Majlis.
In the academic year 2015-2016, she was recognized among the top 100 faculty members based on her high performance at the university.

She is the author of the monograph “International Experience in Utilizing Potential Tax Sources for State Budget Revenues in Azerbaijan” (2018).
Since 2017, she has been enrolled in the Doctor of Science program at the Institute of Economics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
As of 2018, she has been granted the title of Associate Professor by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
She is married and has one child.
