PhD., senior teacher Shujaat Karimova Mashrif
In 1982 she entered the faculty of “English Language” of the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages (now Azerbaijan University of Languages) with the highest score. During her student years, she won a number of scientific competitions, graduated from the “Komsomol” school, and became a member of CPSU and completed the “German language” course in the German Democratic Republic.
She successfully graduated from the Institute in 1987.
2000-2014 – She worked as a part-time teacher at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Western University, and Baku State University. Since 2004 she has been working at the “Foreign Languages” department of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, first as a part-time teacher, then, since 2007 as a teacher, and since 2019 as a senior teacher.
Since 2003 she has successfully completed more than 20 foreign and local trainings (through competition) and got certificates.
2014 – She was selected as “SABAH” teacher by the Ministry of Science and Education.
2014 – She completed an internship at Istanbul University in Turkey within the “MEVLANA” Exchange Program.

2014-2018 – She was a postgraduate in the “Indo-European Languages” Department of the Institute of Linguistics of ANAS.
2022 – She defended her thesis on the “Germanic Languages” speciality at the Azerbaijan University of Languages and got Ph.D. degree in Philology.
During her career she has given speeches in a number of international and national conferences both abroad and within the country.
She is the author of IELTS (2010) and Business English (ESP) (2015) Curricular (Teaching) Programs and a number of scientific-methodical articles dealing with the actual problems and important issues of Modern Linguistics.
