Studying the “Strategic Roadmap” is in progress at UNEC.
A scientific workshop on “Strategic Roadmap for the Production of Consumer Products of Small and Medium-sized Enterprise in the Republic of Azerbaijan” has been held in the School of Business and Management.
Speaking about the significance of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship, the School Dean, Associate Professor Miragha Ahmadov noted they are eager to produce the goods that are not produced by big ones and render different services. They are more flexible and adapt to the requirements of market quickly. To this ground, the development of small and medium enterprise established in the business structures of Azerbaijan is very important and targeted in meeting the requirements of market.
Head of the Department of “Business Administration”, Associate Professor Mahammad Aliyev said the above mentioned document covers short, medium and long-terms. This approach is critical to the successful implementation of the strategic document aimed at sustainable development. M.Aliyev said Strategic Road Map established a long-term view of the economy embarked on the path of sustainable development aimed at further strengthening competitiveness. At the same, time improving the social welfare of its citizens and to ensure the delivery of a higher level of human development index.
The instructor of the Department Murad Badirov presented small and medium-sized businesses around the current state of the subject by analyzing the results. He said small and medium-sized enterprises role in maintaining food security, agricultural production and processing of the current situation and financial markets of the problems facing the provision of access to the investigation.
Associate Professor Niyazi Hasanov proposed diverse range of food products in the country on the basis of the minimum consumer basket, conducting market research and consumer of the determination.
In the end, the School Dean M.Ahmadov said the studying of separate sections of Strategic Roadmap will be continued in the seminars to be held.
