To improve the quality of teaching at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) it is necessary to expand measures to stimulate the academic staff’s performances constantly.
To draw the “Leading Teacher” aspect to the fore and realize the promotional projects in this direction are considered appropriate to achieve UNEC’s goal of becoming a leading university in a short period of time.
To this end, the “Leading Teacher-Leading University” Project starts between the dates 1st October 2016 – 30th June 2017. The Project will give a positive impetus to improving the level of UNEC academic staff’s professionalism, promotion of scientific research, increasing self- development, social activities and in general to the process of teaching. The rivalry to be conducted among the academic staff members in 7 nominations of “Leading Teacher” criteria will make special contributions to increasing the quality of and efficiency of teaching.
