UNEC Scholars make speeches in the scientific conference
The academic staff of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) has taken part in the scientific conference devoted to the 93rd Anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s Birthday held at the State University of Lenkaran.
Head of the Department “Science”, Professor Zahid Mammadov noted the achievements gained in science and education are connected with the name and activity of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s name during the conference held on “Urgent Problems of the Modern Science”. He said today young people’s acquiring higher education and their involvement in solid scientific researches should be treated as the foundation of Azerbaijan’s future development in the context of historical traditions and the principles of succession. Z.Mammadov emphasized the significance of joint holding conferences, discussions, scientific workshops, exchange of views in all fields of science to expand scientific relations and cooperation.
Talking about the latest successful scientific achievements, Professor Z.Mammadov delivered detailed information on the Differential Payroll System based on the assessment of the academic staff’s performances.
The administration of the State University of Lenkaran noted that they would benefit from UNEC’s experience in this field.
Professor Zahid Mammadov has made a report on “Changes and Goals in the Activity of the Central Bank in the Context of Global Challenges” during the conference.
Making a speech on “Conceptual Basis of Accounting”, Head of the Department “Accounting and Audit”, Professor Sifariz Sabzaliyev gave detailed information about the identification of fundamental principles of accounting applied in the preparation of financial statements and the logical basis of these principles. He said the main goal of conceptual basis is the provision of the transparency of financial statements.
UNEC scholars Zohrab Ibrahimov made speech on “Risks in Banking and their Management”, Emin Garibli on “Evaluation Methods of Macroeconomic Development”, Tarana Kerimova on “Evaluation of Role of Domestic Investments in the Country’s Economy” during the plenary and section meetings.
UNEC’s textbooks and teaching aids were presented the Scientific Library of the State University of Lenkaran.
