Seminar held at UNEC: Step-by-step to Professionalism
Students of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) attended a seminar by “Azersun” Holding and Azerbaijan Industrial Insurance OSC on October 13. The workshop was organized by the Career Center and the School of Finance and Accounting of UNEC.
Dean of the School of Finance and Accounting, Assistant Professor Geray Musayev spoke about the significance of cooperation between “Azersun” Holding and UNEC. He said the heads the representatives of the well- known company’s structural units regularly organize seminars and share the experiences with UNEC students.
Head of Recruitment of “Azersun” Holding Elchin Azimli made a presentation on “Step- by- step to Professionalism”. He said beside the theoretical knowledge students should acquire practical knowledge to meet the requirements of the modern business world. He added that special importance to young people’s social skills and self- development are given during the process of recruitment. The company representative gave his advice on rules of behavior and the candidate’s psychological preparedness. Emphasizing that there is a demand for the educated and skilled youth in the labor market, E.Azimi said that UNEC alumni are the majority in Azersun Holding.
Deputy Financial Head of Azerbaijan Industrial Insurance OSC Executive Board Rashad Mammadov provided the students on proper CV writing methods, internship on majors and certification programs and the characteristics of career building in this direction.
