Trainings to improve the electronic documentation system have been held at UNEC.
Trainings are targeted in upgrading the Electronic Documentation System users’ skills, as well as the clerical system.
Director of UNEC’s General Department Rashad Muradov said that amendments and changes were made to the decree about the approval of the “Instruction on administration of documentation in the State Authoritative bodies, office, organizations and institutions” signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 27 2003. All the organizations performing in the republic were provided with the right to carry out their documentation electronically within the amendments made by the Presidential decree on July 14 2015. Pursuant to this decree, according to UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov’s instructions, the Electronic Documentation System has been applied at UNEC since 2015 and the clerical works is conducted in an electronic form.
Speaking about the advantages of the Electronic Documentation System, R.Muradov said transition to electronic paper work ensured the efficiency and transparency in management. Appeals submitted to the university are responded in a short period via the system and the document circulation has been increased twice in compare with the previous years. The electronic documentation system has minimized paper usage at the university.
Bringing to attention that currently 95 structural units are gathered in the Electronic Documentation System of UNEC, R. Muradov pointed that the number of users will increase in the future.
The participants of the two-day trainings were explained how to prepare, sign, send the documents and other processes on the testing version of the Electronic Documentation System.
The trainees’ questions were answered in the event. Users suggested to conduct trainings in groups in all academic buildings of the university.
