A round-table discussion on “Islamic Solidarity and Patriotism” was held in the Zagatala Branch of UNEC.
Besides the academic and student staffs of UNEC, the representative of Zagatala region Executive Power Ilgar Veliyev, Head of the Department of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations on Zagatala region Mehman Ismayilov also attended the event.
Director of the Branch, Professor Orujali Rzayev said great steps are being taken for the protection of tolerance in Azerbaijan. Our country hosts international events on tolerance and becomes the center of intercultural dialogue and civilization. O. Rzayev emphasized the IV Islamic Solidarity Games, the motto of which is “Solidarity is our Power”, would play important role in strengthening unity and solidarity in modern world, bringing different nations together.
Reports “Morality, Moral Values, Moral Education” by M.Ismayilov and the Head of the Department of “General Disciplines”, Assistant Professor Hagigat Gadimova, “Islam and Modern Life” by the teacher of the branch Gudrat Girtimov, “Islamic Games and the Youth” by the student Safiyya Orujova and “Solidarity is our Power” by Jalal Gulmammadli were made within the event.
