The UNEC scientists participated in the First International Symposium entitled “Heydar Aliyev and the Turkish world” dedicated to the 95-th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev held at Ataturk University located in Erzurum, Turkey.

The symposium featured the photo exhibition reflecting the life journey and activity of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The representatives of the diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan in Turkey, the heads of the higher education institutions spoke about Heydar Aliyev’s unprecedented services in the field of legal, democratic and secular state building in Azerbaijan and emphasized that the genius leader was the creator of the idea of Azerbajanism. The UNEC delegation made presentations in the section meetings of the symposium. The speeches of the associated professor of “Design” chair Elfana Gasimova  on the topic “The Historical Overview of the Azerbaijani Socio-cultural Space”, the teachers, associate professors of the “International Relations” chair Solmaz Gozalova  on the topic “Heydar Aliyev – the founder of the national oil strategy” and the associated professor Afet Seyidzadeh on the topic “Heydar Aliyev and Tolerance” caused the interest of the symposium participants.
