A Round-table Discussion on “Science Slam” Model held at UNEC
A round-table discussion on “Science Slam” Model has been organized by the Student Scientific Society of UNEC and the Student Scientific Circle of the Department of Finance and Financial Institutions.
Event attended by the activists of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting was on the “Development Directions and Principles of the National Economy”.
Head of the SSS, Associate Professor Nigar Taghiyeva spoke to students about the privileges of becoming engaged in scientific activity and gave them recommendations.
A Scientific Supervisor of UNEC SSS, Associate Professor Emin Garibli and a Chairman of UNEC SSS Avazagha Malikov delivered detailed information about “Science Slam” Project. It was said that the Project to serve the popularization of the science and stimulation of scientific activity among the students is realized for the first time at UNEC. According to the terms of the Project the speakers’ reports are heard at universities. The significance of the project is that the listenings are conducted only in informal condition, accompanied by the music and visual images. The audience applauds the research they like; the most applauded researchers are considered winners.
Students made presentations they have developed in different topics. Students Saida Khalil, Aygun Abbasova and Rufana Suleymanova’s speeches were distinguished especially.
