Center for Disabled People at ASUE
Foundation for Disabled People is being established at Azerbaijan State University of Economics with support of the Ministries of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Labor and Social Protection of Population.
During the presentation Professor and teaching staff was informed that the Project aims to apply the European experience in the Higher Educational Institutions of our country. Local partners of the Project are the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Khazar University, Ganja State University, Sumgayit State University, Lenkeran State University and Union of Disabled People’s Organizations. The European partners are European Advisory Council on Human Rights (Holland), Lodz University (Poland), University of Macedonia (Republic of Greece) and Karl Franzens Graz University (Austria).
Speaking about the social significance of the topic, existing problems Vice- president of the Society for Visually Impaired People Beybala Ibadullayev emphasized the importance of the center.
