Education for Everybody- let us eliminate the obstacles and open the doors”
The employees of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) participated in the conference held at Ganja State University within the ESFIDIP TEMPUS Project on “Laying the Foundation for the Integrations of Persons with Disabilities in the Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
The purpose of the publicity conference “Education for Everybody- let us eliminate the obstacles and open the doors” has been raising public awareness to attract people with disabilities in higher education institutions. The importance of the application of the European experience in this field to the universities of Azerbaijan and the students’, teachers’ and the employees’ training were spoken about within the conference. It was noted that the “Centers for students with disabilities” should be established and the public should be regularly informed about the project.
The national partners of the project, including the Union of Organizations of Disabled, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of People and the representatives of six universities of the Republic of Azerbaijan have taken part in the conference.
