The staff of the Ministry of Culture got acquainted with the digital library experience of UNEC
Akif Marifli, the head of the book industry department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Khayal Mammadov, the head of the publishing sector, visited UNEC for the purpose of exchanging experience.
Within the framework of the visit, during the meeting with Fariz Ahmadov, vice-rector for science and innovation issues of UNEC, there was a mutual exchange of views on expanding the beneficial cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and UNEC and defining new directions in this context. In particular, a preliminary agreement was reached on the implementation of mutual projects for the purpose of joint preparation of current publications that serve to promote the investment potential of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur and national and moral values in the international arena. Then the guests presented UNEC with several exquisitely designed books published by the ministry.
During the acquaintance with UNEC libraries, the director of the Library-Information Center, PhD in History Adila Abdullayeva gave detailed information to the guests about the automated library-information systems used in UNEC, electronic resources, applied innovative work methods and principles, online services, new projects. At the same time, discussions were held on the purchase of new books and the exchange of a number of publications.
