The staff of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting visit the grave of UNEC martyr Suleyman Garayev

July 3 was the birthday of Süleyman Albagish oglu Garayev, a 2016 graduate of the Finance and Accounting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), who was martyred in the Patriotic War. If he had lived, he would have been 29 years old.
Associate Professor Hafis Hajiyev, Dean of the Finance and Accounting Faculty of UNEC, and university graduates visited Suleyman Garayev’s grave in the village of Galagayin, Sabirabad district, together with the martyr’s family members. The visitors honoured the memory of the martyr and laid flowers on his grave.
On the martyr’s memorial day, faculty dean associate professor Hafis Hajiyev and the martyr’s father Albagish Garayev shared their memories about him.
On October 7, 2020, Suleyman Garayev rose to the peak of martyrdom in the battles for the freedom of Agdam region. After his death, he was awarded the 3rd degree “For Service to the Fatherland” Order.
