According to the Director of the Distance and Continuing Education Center, Mr Sabuhi Tanriverdiyev, the number of students admitted to second higher education programs this year has increased by 48% compared to last year, and by 2.5 times compared to the last five years, reaching a total of 279 students.
Notably, this year, the number of students admitted to part-time second higher education programs at UNEC exceeded those admitted through the State Examination Center’s process. Admissions were conducted across 19 specialties, with 28% of students selecting “State and Municipal Administration,” 16% choosing “Finance,” 12% opting for “Economics,” 6% selecting “Accounting,” and 31.5% choosing other specialties.
The admitted students include graduates not only from local universities but also from foreign universities, showcasing UNEC’s broad appeal.
Additionally, UNEC’s Zagatala branch admitted 19 students across 8 specialties for second higher education programs.
