As part of the visit, the delegation was hosted by Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) and Panevezys College.
During the meeting with Audra Dargyte, Director of the International Cooperation Department at MRU; Professor Danguole Jankauskiene, Director of the Faculty of Public Administration and Business; Professor Irmantas Rotomskis, Vice-Dean; and Associate Professor Lidija Kraujaliene, Director of the MBA program, the UNEC representatives provided comprehensive information about their university. Discussions focused on joint master’s and bachelor’s programs, student and faculty exchange initiatives, ERASMUS programs, and the organization of summer schools.
Particular emphasis was placed on the existing master’s program jointly conducted by UNEC and Mykolas Romeris University, with preliminary discussions on establishing a similar program at the undergraduate level. MRU professors also expressed interest in co-authoring academic papers with UNEC faculty members. During the meeting, Associate Professor Lidija Kraujaliene announced her plans to visit UNEC during the spring semester.
The delegation’s next visit was to Panevezys College, where they met with Dr. Gediminas Sargunas, Director of the College; Jurgita Lieponiene, Deputy Director; and other staff members. UNEC representatives shared detailed information about their university and emphasized the importance of establishing collaborative efforts between the institutions.
