Monitoring Visits to Partner Universities were carried out within TEMPUS Project
Monitoring visits to the Universities of Project partners such as Azerbaijan, Kirgizstan, Ukraine and Tajikistan had been carried out through April and May of 2015 within the actions plan of the TEMPUS Project on “Development and Improvement of the University Administration in International Relations” the coordinator of which is Azerbaijan State University of Economics (ASUE). The representatives of ASUE and the European Universities performing as the Project partners attended monitoring visits.
ASUE employee Beyim Nabiyeva and Head of the International Relations Department of Warwick University of Great Britain which is the European partner James Kennedy visited Baku State University, Sumgait State University, Nakhchivan State University and Ganja State University within April 14-17 of the current year. Afterwards, through April 22-23 ASUE employee B. Nabiyeva and the employee of the International Relations Department of Santiago de Compostela University of Spain Begona Soneyra Beloso visited Kirgizstan University of Economics and Kirgizstan International University.
Accordingly, Vice- rector of ASUE for International Relations and Program, Associate Professor Shahin Bayramov and the employee of the International Relations Department of the European Partner Malaga University of Spain Juan Jamcheka visited Kiev National University of Economics of Ukraine and Poltava University of Economics and Trade within April 27-29 of the current year.
As part of monitoring measures, Head of the International Relations Department of ASUE, Associate Professor Muslim Ibrahimov was on business in the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Services of Tajikistan and Kudzand State University through May 04-06 of the current year.
Partner universities’ employees in charge of the International Relations were met during the monitoring visits, the execution case of the TEMPUS Project was discussed and views on further actions to be implemented within the Project were made during the monitoring visits.
Bilateral cooperation issues among the partner universities were looked through during the above mentioned trips. In addition, the Associate Professor Shahin Bayramov visited Azerbaijan Cultural and Training Center performing in Poltava University of Economics and Trade, Associate Professor M. Ibrahimov conducted a two- day Master class for the student and teaching staffs of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Services of Tajikistan.
