Presentation of an Electronic Document Management held at ASUE
Presentation of an electronic document management was held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics on June 4. The “Multimedia” Information Systems Technologies Center Director Osman Gunduz, Azerbaijan experts on ICT and the representatives of other higher education institutions joined the event.
Making an opening speech Rector of ASUE, Professor Adalat Muradov noted that, with the introduction of electronic document circulation the university has been completely eliminated the use of paper in correspondence. According to Muradov, a new document circulation developed on the basis of the software “doc.net” is significantly helpful in term of efficiency, flexibility and transparency. He expressed readiness to assist the other universities in the application of the electronic document.
The representatives of the company “Ultra” delivered detailed information for the participants of the ceremony about the electronic document management applied in ASUE. It was noted that, the system was completely adapted to the “Instruction on the conduct of clerical work in the state bodies, organizations and institutions” approved by the Presidential Order 935 on September 27 2003 of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The participants were also informed that, to get permission document, to sign or view will be available from any site of the globe through the system. It was also highlighted that to take advantage of these opportunities will be able through the mobile devices. The most advanced technologies were based on in the security of the software the interface of which is in Azerbaijani.
The presenters drew to attention that the software products such as Oracle, DELPHI and Java technologies, Bulud Platform, Microsoft, HP, Cisco equipments were used in the development of the system.
ICT experts and the representatives of the company “Ultra” responded the participants’ questions in the end.
