Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography Education and a Master’s degree in Landscape Studies from Baku State University. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
She is also a graduate of the one-year Professional Development Course for Career Counselors, funded by the U.S. Embassy.
Ms. Burzuyeva began her professional career as a geography teacher at Baku Ataturk Lyceum. She currently teaches in both Azerbaijani and English sections at Baku Eurasian University and Baku Eurasian College, and in Azerbaijani and Turkish sections at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), where she delivers courses such as Career Planning and Soft Skills. Additionally, she serves as the Head of the Internal Quality Assurance and Monitoring Sector at Baku Eurasian College.
She has served as a career counselor and mentor for the “Əlaçı” Scholarship Program by Pasha Holding, a trainer at the State Employment Agency and the Engineers Association, and a career counselor and mentor for the Addım.at and Navigator projects.

Ms. Burzuyeva was a winner of the grant competition by the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan and the Youth Foundation with her Skills Up project. She has trained nearly 80 graduates in her Career Counselors Course.
Currently, she works as a lecturer (0.5 FTE) at UNEC’s Career Planning and Development Department. As an independent trainer, she has conducted training sessions for nearly 3,000 participants. She has also served as a trainer in Career Planning under the Erasmus program at Dimitrie Cantemir University in Romania.
Ms. Burzuyeva has participated in numerous local and international conferences and is the author of several academic articles.
