PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Malayev Zakir Abbas
He was born on January 13, 1960 in Sumgayit, in a family of worker.
In 1989 he entered the higher institute of Trade Union Movement VCPCS named after N.M.Shvernik.
In 1994 he graduated from the full course “Socio-economic Institute at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations” and received a degree in “Economics of Labor and Sociology”.
From 2001 to 2005, he was a student for a degree at Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
In 2008 he successfully defended his thesis at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences on the topic: “Managing labor resources and improvement of their use”.
In 1979-1981 he served in the military service.
He was an hourly lecturer at the department of “Organization and Economics of Labor” in 2005-2012;
Since 2012, he has worked as a substitute teacher for 0.5 staff units.
He has hold seminars and lectures on “Human Resource Management”, “Sustainable Human Development”, “Fundamentals of Labor Organization”, “Labor Economics”, “Socio-Economic Problems of Labor Organization”, “Personnel Management”, “Income and Salary Policy,” “Certification of Work-places” in both Russian and Azerbaijani.
He is the deputy chairman of the Audit Commission of the Trade Union Committee of the Economic University and a representative of the ATIAHI Republican Committee.
In 2013, his subject program “Ergonomics” (in Azerbaijani and Russian) and the manuscript “Ergonomics” (in Azerbaijani and Russian) were published.
He was Associate Professor of the department of “Economics and Organization of Labor” at UNEC.
He is currently an Associate Professor at the UNEC department of “Economics and Business Administration”.
