A round- table discussion on “Marketing Support for Entrepreneurship in the Context of the rapid Development of Azerbaijan Economy” has been held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics on May 26. In addition to UNEC’s academic staff the administration and expert marketers of Business Development Department of “Caspian Development Bank” OSC, “Extra Service” of Azerbaijan Marketing Society, the Company “ANS Commerce”, the Innovations Department of ANAS Board of Directors, Company “Yello”, the Department of “Marketing of Agricultural Products” of the Scientific Research Institute of Economy and Management of Agriculture attended the event.
Within the round-table discussion organized by UNEC School of Commerce the School Dean Miragha Ahmadov noted that the foundation of the development model of entrepreneurship was laid in Azerbaijan by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. As a successful continuation of this model a very significant decree on measures for acceleration of socio- economic development of the country has been issued by the President Ilham Aliyev. According to the decree, very favorable conditions are created in the regions for the development of ownership.
Noting that we need skilled personnel in our regions for the development of business activities, M.Ahmadov spoke about the affairs done in this direction at UNEC. He said, the developed countries’ experience for the formation of innovative business environment is being studied and human resources to meet the needs of the labor market through the use of modern technologies in the fields of business and marketing management are developed. These personnel are involved to start- ups performing at the Innovative Business Incubator of UNEC to be more flexible and innovative.
Head of the Department “Marketing” Telman Imanov made proposals. He said, the social responsibility of the country’s enterprises should be increased. As well, he emphasized the importance of government support for the marketing research of European and Asian markets. Head of the Department proposed the establishment of social media marketing strategy for the creation of a single entrepreneurs’ platform and its promotion.
The Director of Business Development Department of “Caspian Development Bank” OSC Senan Hasanov suggested to hold marketing trainings to small and medium sized entrepreneurs. He said the complex trainings would assist them in developing strategic business and marketing plans, preparation of branding mechanism and logistic affairs.
Head of the Project Manager of Azerbaijan Marketing Society Lamiya Ismayilzade spoke about the advantages of creating appropriate marketing group related with stimulating the regional economy in the country. The expert group should firstly make marketing research on potential fields with the help of Azerbaijan Marketing Society, afterwards will develop marketing plan for the promotion for the next 1 year within 3 months.
The teaching staff of the Department Ramil Jabbarov drew to attention the problems of the formation of marketing strategy. R.Jabbarov said that building product and consumer oriented strategy; the decision mechanism remains the principal matter.
Assistant Professor of the Department Marketing Ismayil Kheyirkhabarov said it is pointless to enter the market without innovative advantage. Proposing to create marketing focus groups, I.Kheyirkhabarov noted the importance of conducting the assessment of focus group before organizing the PR events.

Ölkəmizdə sahibkarlıq fəaliyyətinin inkişafı üçün peşəkar kadrlara ehtiyac olduğunu bildirən M.Əhmədov, UNEC-də bu istiqamətdə görülən işlərdən danışıb. Qeyd edib ki, innovativ sahibkarlıq mühitinin formalaşması üçün inkişaf etmiş ölkələrin təcrübəsi öyrənilir, müasir texnologiyalardan istifadə etməklə biznesin təşkili və marketinqin idarə edilməsi sahələri üzrə əmək bazarının tələblərinə cavab verən kadrlar hazırlanır. Kadrların daha cevik və innovativ olmaları üçün onlar UNEC-də fəaliyyət göstərən İnnovativ Biznes İnkubatorda startaplara cəlb edilirlər.
“Marketinq” kafedrasının müdiri Telman İmanov təkliflərlə çıxış edib. Bildirib ki, ölkədə müəssisələrin sosial məsuliyyətliliyini artırmaq lazımdır. Eləcə də, Avropa və Asiya bazarlarının araşdırılması istiqamətində dövlət tərəfindən marketinq araşdırmalarına dəstək göstərilməsinin vacibliyini vurğulayıb. Kafedra müdiri sahibkarları vahid platformada cəmləyən portalların yaradılması və təbliği üçün sosial media marketinq strategiyasının qurulması da təklif edib.
“Caspian Development Bank” (CDB) ASC-nin Biznesin inkişaf departamentinin direktoru Sənan Həsənov isə kiçik və orta sahibkarlara marketinq təlimləri keçirilməsini tövsiyə edib. Bildirib ki, sahibkarlara kompleks təlimlərinin keçirilməsi onlara strateji biznes və marketinq planının qurulması, brendləşmə mexanizminin hazırlanması və logistika məsələlərində yardım edəcək.
