UNEC Employees of the Faculty of Business and Management who made a trip to the Universities of Suleyman Demirel and Sakarya of Turkey hold a workshop to share their experiences. Besides the academic staff, graduate and doctoral students of the faculty also attended the meeting.
The School Dean, Associated Professor Miragha Ahmadov made bilateral positive cooperation between UNEC and the University of Sakarya. Thus, innovations to be beneficial in the system of management and the proposals for their application were developed. One of the novelties was to study the structure of the Faculty Secretariat. M.Ahmadov highlighted that UNEC’s Electronic University Model and integral part the Differential Salary System returned to the object of experience at the University of Sakarya.
Head of the Department “Azerbaijan Language”, Professor Tofig Abdulhasanov brought to attention that he acquainted with the different management culture in the Faculty of “Literary Studies” at the Sakarya University; emphasized that the study of intercultural civilization was given priority. He noted the necessity of writing joint textbooks.
Head of the Department “Mathematics”, Professor Natig Ahmadov said he had analyzed the different points of the curricula and syllabuses of the discipline “Mathematics” conducted in the Faculty of Economics of the Suleyman Demirel University. Emphasizing that great importance in the teaching of mathematics is given to the analysis of the economic issues; he drew to attention the development of joint programs and syllabuses with them.
Head of the Department of “Business Administration”, Professor Mahammad Aliyev noted that the priority will be given to regular corresponding and development of joint projects and that the process has already began.
Head of the Department “Russian Language”, Associate Professor Gulnara Rzayeva spoke about her meeting with the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Suleyman Demirel University Hakan Demirgul. It was said as there is lack of the Russian Language teachers, negotiations about sending UNEC teachers to conduct classes in Russian within the Mevlana Exchange Program were made. She said UNEC instructors will get the opportunity of conducting classes in Russian online without leaving for Turkey.
Questions addressed by faculty’s doctoral students and employees were sounded within the seminar went on with debates. Books brought from Turkey were introduced to the employees ranked in the list of the Differential Salary System.
