“NEW Club” is founded in UNEC
The foundation meeting of “New Club” has been held at UNEC.
The chairman NAP Youth Union Bakhtiyar Islamov, UNEC vice-rector Shaig Askerov, members of the club, and students took part in the event.
Before the event, the participants expressed their respect for the dear memory of the national leader by laying flowers in front of the bust of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.
The founding meeting was opened after a minute’s silence in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs.
Associate Professor Shaig Asgarov, the vice-rector of UNEC, gave information about the student organizations operating at the university. He said that in addition to the student rector, there are 10 student organizations operating in different areas. Sh. Askerov drew attention to the importance of those organizations in the formation of students’ social consciousness, as well as in the effective organization of their social activities.
NAP Youth Union Chairman Bakhtiyar Islamov expressed his gratitude for the support for the initiative to create the “NEW Club”. He said that student clubs play an important role in the personal development of young people, as well as in increasing their entrepreneurial role in society.
Then the students who are members of the “NEW club” made a presentation and informed them about the purpose of the club’s creation, directions of activities, and club membership. They said that the purpose of forming “NEW Clubs” at the initiative of the NAP Youth Union is to implement various initiatives and multifaceted projects in the fields of public-social, patriotism, personal development, sports, and a number of other directions with the participation of students in higher education institutions.
