As part of the project, the Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov; the Director General of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics under the Ministry of Science and Education, Professor Misir Mardanov; and Academician Nizami Jafarov engaged with students of Secondary Schools No. 11 and No. 27 in Ganja.
During the meeting, Rector Professor Adalat Muradov emphasized that the primary objective of the project is to cultivate an interest in science among students from an early age, raising their awareness of the beauty and significance of scientific disciplines. He further highlighted that this initiative offers students a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with various branches of science and gain comprehensive insights into potential career opportunities within these fields.
Subsequently, Professor Misir Mardanov and Academician Nizami Jafarov delivered in-depth presentations on the paramount importance of science and education, elucidating the pivotal role of science in societal development through an engaging and accessible format. The esteemed scholars encouraged students to nurture their interest in scientific pursuits and strive to acquire new knowledge, while also outlining the pathways to achieving successful careers across diverse scientific domains.
Following the addresses, which were met with great interest and attentiveness by both students and faculty members, the distinguished speakers responded to a range of questions posed by the audience.
