The Winter Exam Session of 2016/2017 academic year will last from December 29 2016 to February 02 2017 at UNEC. More than 12 thousand students will attend written exams or testing. For the first time, exams will be arranged with the same rules in Zagatala and Darband Branches, Financial and Economic College of UNEC.
Within the session, UNEC Rector will jointly hold “Open Doors” with the representatives of NGO, Media and public during which all the students’ complaints will be heard and measures will be taken operatively. NGO representatives, education experts and the people in charge of the exams will lively respond students’ questions on Radio UNEC till the end of the session. The representatives of NGO will also conduct anonymous survey among the students in relation with the session.
The main issue discussed within the Academic Board’s agenda was the development of the exam session. UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov said the implementation of novelties is targeted in the objective assessment of the students’ knowledge and ensuring transparency.
A.Muradov instructed the responsible people about the overtime service of the libraries and reading halls from 09am to 10pm till the end of the session, separation of special auditoriums in all academic buildings to eliminate density during the session and provision of them with uninterrupted Internet access.
Vice-rector for Education and Training Technologies Damat Baghirov said all the necessary conditions were created in every academic building of UNEC to provide students’ convenience within the session. More than 3 thousand students will be able to take exams in 430 equipped exam halls within the day.
The Board members considered the development of the Winter Exam Session of 2016/2017 academic year satisfactory.
Statues of UNEC Secretariat, Career Center and Translation Center were put to discussion and adopted within the session of the Academic Board.
