UNEC research centres start COP29 seminars
UNEC Research Center for European Economy has started the events dedicated to “Baku COP29” within the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”.
The first international seminar was on “Energy, business efficiency and new approaches to CO2 pollution”.In addition to the members of the UNEC research centres, researchers and experts working abroad also participated in the event, which was jointly organized by the Department of Coordination and Organization of the Work of UNEC Research Centers.
The event’s moderator, the head of the UNEC Research Center for European Economy Prof. Elkhan Sadik-Zada, after giving general information about the activities to be carried out by the Center on the topic of “BAKI COP29”, introduced Andrea Gatto, the speaker of the first event, researcher of the centre, president of the Center for Economic Development and Social Changes of the University of Naples Parthenope, Italy, researcher of the Institute of Natural Resources of the University of Greenwich, Great Britain, professor of the Wenzhou-Kean University of China, to the participants.
Then prof. Andrea Gatto thoroughly reported “Energy, business efficiency and new approaches to CO2 pollution”. The speaker gave detailed information about the analyzed countries, data, and econometric methods.
The seminar continued with discussions.
