UNEC’s Teaching Staff at the Western Technical Institute of Macedonia, Greece
The MS program in “Petroleum – oil and gas management and transportation” (MOGMAT) is being continued within the framework of memorandum of co-operation between Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and the Technological Education Institute of Western Macedonia (TEIWM)
Based on the program the staff of the department of “International economics (english language oriented)” Fariz Guliyev has successfully lectured “Financial management in oil and gas industry and transportation”, a subject worth 7.5 ECTS credit, thus UNEC has kept committing within the framework of the program.
Graduate students have attended the course lectures with great interest. Topics on accounting and financial reporting methodologies of Mergers & Acquisitions, international finance, trading with financial securities in securities markets, hedging with financial derivatives and other related financial aspects of commodities markets were taught.
On another occasion in Greece, Fariz Guliyev spoke to university auditorium on the importance of the TAP – major export gas pipeline, its future economic and social benefits and the role of The MS program in “Petroleum – oil and gas management and transportation” the graduates of which are going to take advantage of in a short period of time.
Based on the memorandum of international cooperation between Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and Technological Education Institute of Western Macedonia (TEIWM) the staff exchange, scientific-research and cooperation in other fields of education will be continued
