UNEC Rector Meets with Author of the Book World Economy, UNEC Student
The rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov, met with Amin Zarbaliyev, a second-year student at the Faculty of Economics of the Turkic World and the author of the book World Economy.
During the meeting, Rector Adalat Muradov congratulated Amin Zarbaliyev on his achievement, emphasizing that the publication of the scientific book World Economy, authored by a UNEC student, is an unprecedented milestone in the university’s history. He commended the student for etching his name in the university’s annals as a successful scholar.
Professor Muradov also highlighted the university’s efforts to encourage students’ scientific endeavors. He noted that, alongside faculty members, students who publish articles in journals indexed in prestigious international databases are eligible to receive royalties of up to 5,000 AZN. Additionally, the rector mentioned the establishment of the Student Scientific Journal at UNEC, aimed at further fostering students’ scientific activities. He assured Amin Zarbaliyev that opportunities would be provided for him to enhance his research skills through internships at foreign universities.
Expressing his gratitude to the rector for the attention and support extended to him, Amin Zarbaliyev stated that he intends to further refine his book. He acknowledged the invaluable support of his faculty and professors during the book’s preparation. Sharing his other achievements, Amin revealed that he has published more than ten scientific articles in both local and international journals, including those indexed in the Scopus database. Furthermore, he noted that he has been the winner of subject Olympiads and international competitions and is actively involved in scientific and social activities. The UNEC student proudly announced that he is the only student invited to the 6th International ICMCER-2025 Conference, which will be held in Thailand this year, and that he has also earned the right to participate in an international conference scheduled to take place in London in May.
Concluding the meeting, Rector Adalat Muradov emphasized that the university takes great pride in the achievements of its students and will continue to support them in all their endeavors. He wished Amin Zarbaliyev continued success in his academic and scientific pursuits.
