Professor of the National Research University of “higher School of Economics” conducted a lecture at ASUE
On May 4-5 Head of the Department “Mathematics” of the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” of Russia, Professor Fuad Alasgarov lectured at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (ASUE).
During the lectures conducted on “Diversity and Typology of Universities” and “Evaluation of Demand for Higher Education” Professor F.Alasgarov spoke about the classification of the higher education institutions, division of the different categories of universities for the level of provided services and taking into account these factors in the process of admission. He noted that, studying the current and potential demand for individual specialties, determining the specific weight of the optimal number of students in different specialties and aligning the educational process with the labor market are the most important tasks towards the higher institutions. Professor F.Alasgarov delivered detailed information about the research project realized by a group of employees from the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” which covers the mentioned directions and the totals of the research.
Professor F. Alasgarov met with the doctoral fellows of ASUE and shared his view on the ways of improving the efficiency of scientific researches and modern research methods.
