She was born in 1949 in the Marneuli district of the Republic of Georgia.
In 1967 she entered Azerbaijan Institute of Foreign Languages.
In 1972, she successfully graduated from the same institute with a degree in English-Azerbaijani languages.
From 1972, in connection with family life, she worked at a military plant in Kizlyar, Russia, and later taught English in secondary school.

She returned to Azerbaijan in 1990 and worked as a translator and researcher at the Scientific Research Institute for Occupational Safety.
For some time she worked at the Railway lyceum No. 2.
Since 2001 she has worked as a lecturer at the “Foreign Languages” department of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
She is currently a senior lecturer at the UNEC Department of Foreign Languages.
