She is an associate professor of “Technological machines and field equipment” department of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
She defended her dissertation and is PhD in physics.
She is a member of the UNEC” Council of Young Scientists”.
She is a member of the Young Teachers Council established in 2017.
The results of the joint award competition “Young Scientists and Financial Literacy” announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation on “February 2 – Youth Day” were announced in July 2017. Young scientists from UNEC won this competition. UNEC Associate Professor Nurlana Karimova’s article “Models and Approaches to Financial Education of Youth” was awarded third place.
