PhD in Econ., Assoc.Prof. Mammadov Elshan Qardashkhan
He was born on August 4, 1974 in Beylagan. In 1991 he finished secondary school in Fuzuli named after Mirmehdi Khazani.
In 1999 he graduated from the Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics (now Azerbaijan Stat University of Economics) and in 2001 graduated from the Masters of Azerbaijan State University of Economics with honors.
In March 2002, he was hired as a laboratory assistant at the department of “Economics and Management of the Social Sphere” of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. In September of that year he began to work as a lecturer.
He is currently an associate professor at the UNEC department of “Economics and Management of Social Sphere”.
He defended his thesis on the topic “Regional features of formation and management of the tourism market in Azerbaijan” May 31, 2013, and was awarded the title PhD in Economics by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 18, 2014 (Minutes No. 05-k). He has participated in many international and national scientific conferences.
From 14.12.2021 he was temporarily appointed to the position of Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics of UNEC (for the period of social vocation).
From 02.09.2022, he was appointed as the head of the “Public management and social innovations” department.
